Norwest Land is covered by the Privacy Act 1988 and its National Privacy Principles (NPP’s) which govern the way we collect, use, disclose and secure your personal information after 21 December 2001, as well as the access you may have to that information to correct or update it. This Privacy Policy summarises how we adhere to the NPP’s.

We will only collect and hold personal information that is necessary for us to conduct our business. This will include such information as your name, address, contact details, telephone numbers, and other relevant information. This information is collected directly from you. Collection might take place when you complete an application form, an order for a product, or when you request a product in person, over the telephone or via the Internet. It could also be when you complete a request for a contract for the purchase of property.

To improve our services we may voluntarily, via surveys etc ask information that will enable us to improve our services. Norwest Land in general will use personal information to provide products or services that have been requested, improve and manage products and services, to analyse customer needs, and provide information about our products.

Norwest Land will only disclose your personal information for the purpose in which it was collected unless you have consented, or the secondary purpose is related to the primary and you would reasonably expect such use or disclosure.

We endeavour to ensure that information we hold about you is accurate, complete and up-do-date whenever we collect, use or disclose it. To assist us to keep your personal information accurate and up-to-date, please also advise us of any changes as they occur.

We only retain information that is necessary and relevant to our operations.

You have the right to access any personal information that we hold about you on written request. A reasonable charge may apply to gain access to information. If you establish that information held is not accurate, complete or up-to-date then we will take reasonable steps to correct the information.

Norwest Land will not use any personal identifiers issued by a government agency.

Where is it practical you will be given the option of providing information anonymously.

Norwest Land will not transfer your personal information outside of Australia.

We do not collect or store "sensitive information".
